The following blogs are excellent sources for cutting-edge news on the cryptocurrency market. This list represents my favorite and most frequently visited blog sites.


This site shows four cryptocurrency graphs at a time which can be exploded into full-page view. Once you explode a view, the site has excellent charting tools that you can use to draw on trend lines and more. There are a gaggle of technical indicators you can add to each chart, and they populate underneath the chart.

My favorite site that includes a full social community. You can pull up any cryptocurrency in terms of US dollars, Ethereum, or Bitcoin. You can also activate interactive charts with candlesticks and add any number of technical indicators, plus it has graphic notation capability for adding your own trend lines and analysis.

Very basic site with lots of cryptocurrencies listed with live trading data. You can click on a block and it will open up a candlestick chart of that currency. Real time trades are shown as they happen, with a delay.


You can enter any cryptocurrency and Wallet Investor will provide an instant analysis including a 14-day, 3-month, 6-month, 1-year, and 5-year projection of where they see the price coming to be. It's a site to double-check against your own fundamental analysis of a coin, and also a good source


This is an excellent source for finding trading ideas, and for getting opinions from the community members on where a particular cryptocurrency play is going. Many of the members post their own charts and technical analysis for their picks, and you can see multiple member posts for individual crypto coins that you search.

Excellent online social community. It's hard to search and navigate through the site, but you can find several members who are experts in crytpo technical analysis. When you sign up and post on the forum, you earn actual STEEM coin. The site allows you to host your own blog, where you can post articles on whatever discussion topics you choose. As members up-vote your blog posts, or your comments, you earn STEEM coins.

BitcoinTalk is a very large cryptocurrency discussion forum with



CoinBase is currently the most stable, popular exchange for buying Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash with US dollars. You can connect your bank account, debit card, or credit cards to make a purchase of the coins they carry. This is the starting point you need in order to buy other cryptocurrencies. If you have a Coinbase account, you automatically have a GDAX account. There is an advantage to using this site before sending crypto coin to the other exchanges. You aren't charged any fees for transfers. That makes it fundamentally important to your trading strategy.

Bittrex is an exchange that you can purchase several hundred other cryptocurrencies. You cannot deposit US dollars directly into Bittrex at this point. You must transfer either Bitcoin or Ethereum from CoinBase into your Bittrex account in order to trade other currencies. It is somewhat difficult to use this site, but it is very stable.

Binance is another exchange that you can send Bitcoin or Ethereum to in order to trade other cryptocurrencies. This is a much more user friendly site, and all coins are price-based in BTC and ETH.

Mercatox is an exchange that has a wide variety of cryptocurrencies you can trade, and also uses BTC and ETH for funding. It is a user-friendly site.

Cryptopia seems to have a wide variety of coins to be traded, and has real potential. The website is very professionally done. You can also use their marketplace to actually buy and sell anything, using cryptocurrencies. It's an entire ecommerce platform based on crypto. You can purchase coins using BTC, DOGE, and LTC. This is very valuable.


BitcoinTaxes is a site you can use to calculate your capital gains from trading, in order to report income tax.
